Morro de São Paulo - Dendê Coast

Situated in the northeast part of Tinharé Island, Morro de São Paulo has hills covered with an incredible vegetation that provides beautiful views of its beaches with calm and transparent water. There's no car, but it's possible to find diverse food, visit a desert beach, enjoy parties or accomodate yourself at sophisticated hotels. How to get there Is 250km from Salvador - Overland By car: leave Salvador through BR-324 (road) and take the BR-101 (road) until the connection point with BA-542, that will take you to Valença. From there, take a ship to Morro de São Paulo. Everyday ships leave from Valença Harbor to cross. There are parking lots where you can let your car by paying a daily tax. By bus: buses depart everyday from Valença Bus Terminal. - Aerial After landing at Salvador International Airport you can contact a company to flight to Morro de São Paulo. - Sea Leave Salvador from the Marine Touristic Terminal. Motor-boats and catamarans cross to Morro de São Paulo at different times everyday. Other option is crossing by the ferry-boat system that departs from Salvador to Bom Despacho, in Itaparica Island. Then you go through BA-001 until Valença. Visitors also can go from Itaparica to Valença by bus and after that take a ship to Morro de São Paulo.
